The Hip Snacks are a Denver-based powerhouse six-piece of explosive soul music. Like a surprise hug from an old friend, this band is just what you didn’t know you were missing. The Hip Snacks are led by the duo of vocalist Kara Durante Suarez and her husband, bassist Ben Suarez, and joined by drummer Dylan French, Keyboardist Adam Schini, and guitarists Ricky Feria and Felipe Cantuaria.

The band released their acclaimed debut album What Lies Ahead in June 2024, capping a huge year of growth with support slots for Maggie Rose and Clay Street Unit. The Hip Snacks recorded with legendary producer Steve Avedis at Colorado Sound Studios, authentically capturing their signature blend of piercing vocals, dominant rhythms, and blistering solos over songs that can’t help but make you dance.
