We are a husband and wife duo that run our two boats in Bristol Bay Alaska. Each year we commercially harvest wild sockeye salmon between June and August. While fishing, we focus on resource sustainability through management and fish handling practices that bring the best quality to your dinner plate.
Once the salmon leaves our boats, it is brought to land, filleted, flash frozen, pin-boned (deboned), and individually vacuum sealed. All of our salmon is sushi-grade and is sold in 5lb, 10lb, 20lb boxes, with discounted rates for larger orders.
We say that “..when we thaw a fillet from our freezers here in Colorado, we can’t tell the difference from a salmon cooked on the boat.”. Frozen is fresh, and at your fingertips when you have your freezers stocked with our wild salmon. As an added bonus we provide recipe cards with each box.
Our salmon arrives in Colorado every year around October 1st. We spend October thru December visiting our surrounding Rocky Mountain communities providing a direct source of wild salmon to you, from our net to your table. We are excited to bring our sustainable salmon to Steamboat, and look forward to growing our salmon community here.
There are two ways for customers to get their salmon box;
#1 purchase their box on our website which will reserve their box for pick up.
#2 Walk-up and purchase at our Salmon Wagon during our salmon drops.
