Buoyed by Karl Denson, touring saxophonist for the Rolling Stones and founder of Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, the Greyboy Allstars were the original backing band for acid jazz DJ Greyboy. The Greyboy Allstars wield a sort of magical chemistry grounded in the band’s tight grooves and practically combustible energy. Denson himself got his start playing for the likes of Lenny Kravitz before joining Slightly Stoopid for a stint.
